Famous as a cosmetic ingredient since time immemorial, the effects of Frankincense resin on the skin are well known. It is most commonly used to address mature skin and signs of ageing.

While our Frankincense Rose Serum is perfect for day time application and is absorbed quickly into the skin, Serum-G is richer and will continue to penetrate and nourish the skin, making it perfect for nighttime application.
It is best applied after the skin has been thoroughly cleansed and slightly damp following a toner. Witch Hazel is recommended for individuals with oily or combination skin. Rosewater or a Hydrosol of Frankincense is recommended for all skin types.
No essential oils are added to this product, instead, the complete and whole oleoresin containing all the Boswellic acids and the naturally occurring essential oils lends it its lovely fragrance.
The base of this serum is a double infusion of Frankincense Dalzielii in organic jojoba oil. What this means is that fresh powdered Frankincense Dalzielii was immersed in warm organic jojoba oil for one and a half lunar cycles, filtered, pressed and then another batch of powdered Frankincense was added to the oil extract and allowed to infuse for the same period of time before filtering and blending with Sea Buckthorn and rosehip oils.
This is an Astrodynamic product produced in accordance with tenents and practices of traditional medical Astrology and Western plant Alchemy.
Sea Buckthorn fruit oil is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds and gives this serum it's garnet colour.
Rosehip oil protects, hydrates and moisturizes while promoting collagen formation.
Along with Jojoba, these oils give body and viscosity to the Serum making it ideal for nighttime application and extended absorption.
Boswellic acids in Frankincense have shown anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer properties in studies and add elasticity to the skin.
Like most tree saps, (In my experience), all Frankincense resins, (Not the essential oils), have a rejuvenative effect on the skin.
This product is prepared with the whole oleoresin of Frankincense Dalzielii and not just the essential oils as in most commercial products. This means the Boswellic acids and other therapeutic compounds are present and contribute their anti-inflammatory and medicinal virtues. Recent studies have shown that Frankincense Dalzielii has the highest percent of Boswellic acids among all the Frankincense family.
Serum-G is made with FreshFrankincense Dalzielii, Organic Jojoba oil, Sea Buckthorn fruit oil and Rosehip oil. No fragrances or preservatives are added. Serum G has an expected shelf life of 2 years. It does not need to be refrigerated but should be kept in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
Always test on a small patch of skin before using any new product.
