Muscle & Joint Relief from Nature

Most aromatic tree resins share an affinity with our musculoskeletal system and many are used in traditional medical systems for treating joint and muscle pain, arthritis and rheumatism, sciatica, bursitis and more. They all share anti-inflammatory properties and are traditionally used as topical rubs.

The easiest way to harness the powerful therapeutic compounds locked in resins is by dissolving them in a carrier oil. These oleo extracts can be safely applied directly on the skin and provide a fragrant healing massage oil on their own or diluted with other carrier oils.
I have added some of the raw resins used in traditional rubs in this collection in case you want to make your own muscle & joint rub. They dissolve fairly easily in warm oils and you can find instructions for creating your own Oleo extract and effective rub here-https://apothecarysgarden.com/2014/07/30/how-to-make-a-whole-extract-of-frankincense-and-other-oleoresins/
