Famous as a cosmetic ingredient since time immemorial, the effects of Frankincense on the skin are well known. It is most commonly used to address mature skin and signs of ageing, believed to add elasticity to the skin. Royal Green Hojari is the premier Omani Frankincense and considered by many to be the best variety for medicine and cosmetics.
Made with the complete and whole oleoresin of Royal Green Hojari Frankincense from Oman, not just the essential oils as in most commercial products. This means the Boswellic acids and other therapeutic compounds are present and contribute their anti-inflammatory and medicinal virtues.
Frankincense Rose Serum is an Astrodynamic preparation created using tenents and principles of traditional plant alchemy and Medical Astrology. It is prepared with a 2 fold infusion of whole Frankincense in Fractionated Coconut oil which means the oil was infused with powdered Frankincense for 1 lunar cycle, (4 weeks), filtered, and a fresh batch of powdered resin was added to infuse in the oil for another lunar cycle.
It is absorbed quickly but leaves the skin feeling nourished, soft and supple. It is safe applied around the eyes and on mucous membranes. A little bit goes a long way.
It has a gorgeous fragrance and is used by some customers as a natural perfume.
There is a powerful relationship, synergy and resonance between Frankincense and Myrrh. In Astrology Frankincense is ruled by the Sun, and Myrrh by the Moon. They are considered perfectly paired polar opposites and their intimate relationship is evident from their desert growth habits to their paired use in traditional medicinal formulas. They are an ancient couple and each supports the scent and medicinal benefits of the other.
The Combination of Rose with Frankincense and Myrrh is a classic which has likely been used in cosmetic and medicinal products for thousands of years. The fragrance of this oil is soothing, sensuous and revitalizing.
There has been a lot of excitement recently with the groundbreaking discovery of compounds called Boswellic acids, found in the resin and not in the essential oil of Frankincense. Boswellic acids are anti-inflammatory and demonstrate cancer-killing activities. 2 other compounds, Incensole and Incensole acetate show promise in addressing anxiety, depression and head trauma. These are only some of the many compounds found in the whole oleoresins of the Frankincense family. By using the whole resin with its natural essential oil, we can experience greater benefits than using only the essential oil of Frankincense.
This product is made with Fresh Royal Green Hojari Frankincense, fractionated coconut oil, Myrrh essential oil and Bulgarian Rose absolute. Nothing else.

I use this as a daytime serum but it's a little too oily for my problematic skin. Im going to change to night time usage and rotate with the other serum. I did notice a slight brightening of my skin today though. Only have used it for a couple of days. I recommend these serums. You WILL see a difference with regular use. If you're extremely oily, like me, just use as a night time serum or eye oil. Great product. Some oil spilled out during transit, but not a whole lot.

Sometimes rose goes weird, smell-wise on my skin but I can tell this is nice stuff. A free sample of the serum G was sent and I like the smell of that one much better. Skin-wise I can’t tell if it does anything just yet…my hands are mostly dry from washing them and sanitizing them too much (for covid) but these serums aren’t so much moisturizers I think.
In any case, Dan’s shop is the best for resins and animalics (although I wish he also had deer musk). Shipping is incredibly fast to the USA and the packaging, customer service, etc, is impeccable! There’s a reason this shop is so popular!
