We ship orders every weekday morning and ship them out weekday afternoons via Canada Post. All North American orders are shipped with tracking. For international orders, please contact us for rates on tracking your package.
After a distillation is performed, the essential oil is collected from the distillate and we are left with a richly fragrant distilled "water" which can be used as a refreshing body spray, a base for cremes, lotions, and many other aromatic/therapeutic products. This is a Hydrosol or a Hydrolat.
African Elemi Hydrosol has a vibrant and uplifting scent, can be used as a spritz, or in formulas for cremes, lotions and other cosmetic/therapeutic products.
Different types of Elemi trees grow in different areas of the world. They are used in local traditions in much the same way for addressing skin issues, as incense for ritual and as a insect repellant.
Please note: There may be droplets of essential oil in this batch of African Elemi Hydrosol. Make sure to keep it away from eyes and mucous membranes.
This product can be diluted freely with distilled water for many applications while retaining its aromatic qualities.
African Elemi Hydrosols sterile and kept refrigerated till it leaves the shop. Once opened, refrigerate any unused hydrosol since no preserving agents have been added.
