Traditionally harvested in the wild tropical jungles of Vietnam and Thailand, the fruit of the tree is edible and the seeds are high in fatty acids. The resin of Canarium album is collected after cutting the bark and used as incense for ceremonial and domestic purposes. The fragrant resin is anti-parasitic and, when blended with fats and oils, acts as an emollient (Soothes, softens and moisturizes the skin) and is used to treat skin infections such as eczema, prickly heat and skin rashes. All the resins of the Elemi family are considered skin-nourishing and rejuvenating.
In aroma, it is sweet and uplifting and creates a (distractingly) sensuous massage oil when added to carrier oils.

Vietnam Elemi can be used in perfumery, Incense-making, skin care and cosmetic formulas, as well as in your favourite diffuser.

Citrus first, pine second. I prefer this to my milder, more peppercorn-forward elemi eo from eden botanicals. Very potent. Best used judiciously.

Very Impressive!

Both the site and the products are amazing! I just received my package yesterday, and was very excited to "take it all in" one item at a time. The packaging is perfect, and everything is sealed to protect any fragrance transfers. Once you open the little bags you are hit with powerful"magic". These are very potent products, and I have started planning my day around creating my own arsenal of body "armor". Thanks to Dan and team, I'm planning my next order already.
