It is prepared from pure, Royal Green Hojari Frankincense, a hefty dose of its Resin Extract, the resin extract of Frankincense Carterii and the resin extract of Frankincense Dalzielii, which has been shown to contain a much higher percentage of healing Boswellic acids, AKBA, than any other Frankincense type. This is a naturally scented, penetrating and comforting Balm. It contains all the resin acids and Boswellic acids that are present in the whole resin.
Boswellic acids are the recently studied, active therapeutic compounds found in some types of Frankincense. Boswellic acids are not found in the essential oil of Frankincense but in its resin which is lost in the distillation process.
By using the entire resin with its natural essential oil, this Balm delivers greater benefits than products that contain only Frankincense essential oil.

Oh my gosh the smell is absolutely divine I have never smelled anything like this before. So far I put some on my hand and it stopped my skin from cracking. But make sure when you use ot to put enough on.

This is an incredible balm. It is solving a skin issue I've had where everything else I have tried have only controlled to greater or lesser extents.
I would recommend it as an essential item for every medical cabinet.
It is a solid balm, so goes a long way. I find using a small wooden spatula type item to scrap off a thin film of the balm a really good way to extract it from the tin to apply it.

As it is now over six months of usage, I can confidently say that daily use of this balm has obliterated oral cold sores. It is also perfect for the cuticles, keeping them soft, moisturized and free of snags.

I developped some kind of dermatitis around the eyes because of forgot to protect my skin before going out for a run during winter. Whenever I would get exposed to cold or wind, I would automatically get red and itchy around that area. Nothing wasn't working until I decided to try this balm. I've been using it for a month now and it's completely healed. I am a bit afraid that the rashes will come back so I keep using it day and night in my daily routine.
