Red Jawi is produced in India specifically (and only) for the Arabian market. One finds Red Jawi throughout the Soukhs of the Mediterranean and Arabia. In these areas, it is a common incense material used in local traditions and folk magic for cleansing spaces and perfuming the surroundings.
An electric or tealight heater will not provide the temperature required to release its aroma.
As many perfumers and aroma explorers can attest, Jawi does not tincture well in alcohol and provides little aroma except when burned.
