Resins lend unique qualities to moustache waxes and beard balms. They not only add hold and tack, but they also help set the shape and style of facial hair much as perms do for women. After a couple of applications, one finds that much less effort and product is needed to tame a moustache or beard and it starts to hold its shape even when the products are absent. Resins have their own classic fragrance and for this reason, I add no essential oils or fragrances to my grooming products.
