Khinjuk Mastic Essential Oil-RARE!-Smooth sweet and enchanting!!

Khinjuk Mastic essential oil is distilled in-house from Fresh Pistacia Khinjuk resin, a semi-liquid aromatic resin from the same tree family that gives us our Pistachio nuts, Greek mastic, Biblical Terebinth, Black African Mastic and Mount Atlas Mastic resins.

Recent archeological discoveries suggest Pistacia Khinjuk was the most readily available aromatic resin to the ancient Egyptians and that in ancient times, it grew throughout the Sinai peninsula. For this reason, it is speculated that P. Khinjuk may be the resin "SNTR" or Senetejer often mentioned in ancient Egyptian texts that was ubiquitous in perfume, embalming and incense formulas, including the traditional fermented incense, "Kyphi."

Khinjuk Mastic resin is painstakingly collected from tiny droplets on the tree and the ground where it has fallen on leaf litter. I am putting this product on my sustainable harvest list.
We distill this beautiful essential oil from fresh resin. We had a high yield so I lowered the price of this rare essential oil accordingly.

Dan, the quality of this oil is beautiful. The woodsy, warm, weet uplifting aroma is what I anticipated.

I made a wonderful castile soap with this and it is simply glorious. The fragrance has not lost it's potency even after a month mixed with 32oz of liquid castile. Simply lovely!

I tried so many. At this point, I am not even sure why any other mastic oil is being sold anywhere.
