Sultan's Grade  Frankincense is collected immediately after harvest and kept out of circulation by the Sultanate of Oman. It is the purest, greenest, freshest and visually most beautiful resin of all the types of Frankincense harvested in Oman.

The Sultan's Grade Royal Green Hojari Frankincense is the only grade of Hojari resin on the market that tops the Royal Green Hojari in quality and colour and it rarely available to the public except once or twice a year when the Sultanate releases small amounts by special license after an extensive screening process. Even then, it is only dispensed in very small quantities. (20-50 Kilograms at a time). Many are those who apply for the privilege of purchasing this grade and few get the opportunity.

I am very fortunate to be able to offer a small quantity of this unique material to my customers.

Sultan's Grade Royal Green Hojari, like the Royal Green Hojari, is used mainly for traditional medicine. It often is chewed, made into a healing tea and used as an ingredient in traditional medicinal formulas.
These tears are fresh, fragrant, green, large and well-shaped and are from the 2023 harvest.

Frankincense to Omanis is comparable to pasta to the Italians, wine to the French and Mastic to the Greeks. It is not just a material, it is an integral part of their daily life, their heritage, history, culture and national identity. The Omani people have a relationship with Frankincense that spans thousands of years and it is inextricably woven into their DNA. Naturally, the best Omani Frankincense is reserved for use in Oman.

It takes many Kilograms of regular Hojari Frankincense resin to collect a handful of the prized "Royal Hojari. In turn, it takes many Kilograms of Royal Hojari Frankincense to gather a handful of the coveted Royal Green Hojari Frankincense tears. Sultan's Grade Royal Green Hojari is the cream of the crop and the "Creme de la Creme

With fresh and tender, plump green tears and a delicately sweet, Piney, minty, citrus fragrance, the high quality of this special guest is obvious to both the eye and the nose.

Sultan's Grade Frankincense is a special type of Frankincense Sacra. Frankincense Sacra is one of the 6 Frankincense types that contain Boswellic acids. These are therapeutically active compounds that have been in the news a lot the past decade. I cannot make medical claims here, so I suggest you Google Boswellic acids or check out my blog post below.

Boswellia Sacra, "Sultan's Grade" Royal Green Hojari is ideal for the preparation of high-quality incense, therapeutic oils, salves, cremes and tinctures. Traditionally, it is chewed, or infused overnight in water, ( a teaspoon of tears to a cup of room temperature water), and sipped throughout the following day for its therapeutic qualities.

For more information, recipes and instructions on making your own therapeutic or cosmetic products from Frankincense resin, please visit my Blog.

Please note our ounces are 30 grams, not the 25 grams offered by many other sellers. To this generous ounce, we ALWAYS add a bit more and NEVER less to our packages. Something our customers have come to count on.

Botanically, Boswellia Sacra from the Arabian peninsula and Boswellia Carterii from East Africa are considered the same species. However, visually, aromatically and chemically they set themselves apart from each other. For this reason, I distinguish this resin from Oman as Boswellia Sacra.

Lovely Tinctured!

I tincture this and use it in my Good Vibes sprays. I appreciate how generous Dan is with his knowledge. I’ve learned so much from his blog and appreciate his awareness of the environmental impact when sourcing materials. He’s also transparent when he isn’t sure, instead of greenwashing. Last, but not least, I love the respect, clearly communicated through his descriptions, that he shows for the different cultures that the materials are sorted from.

Amazing

After reading most of the information on your blog, I was pretty much speechless. I have been using frankincense eo for over 50 years and boswellic acid probably for over 20 years in all of my formulations, and not once did I put the two together. I was ready to write a review prior to the arrival of my products. I told my tinctures and oils that “ we were getting some very special guests “ Simply beautiful! I have been on cloud nine every since! You are very generous with your sustainable narrative and compassion and product It is an amazing addition to the already amazing healing preparations that are made with the other herbs that are used. Beautiful green fragrant chucks with such a medicinal taste and according to my scale, again may I say generous. I could go on and on and my friends and family are pretty much tired of me talking about it. I really can’t say anymore, but one thing I do know, all of the products that I ordered are the “truth”. Thank you so very much for your knowledge and caring and I definitely will be ordering again as soon as I can, no doubt. Stay blessed!

It is clear that the product is ordinary a...

It is clear that the product is ordinary and not distinct from its counterpart, and I bought it according to the seller's description of the product, but it does not look like the picture at all. It seems in the pictures that it is green color, but when I received it, I found that its color is white, tending to yellow! The list says it is a distinct type? So I bought a quantity of it, and when I complained to the seller, he told me that it was not like the picture because the computer cannot produce the picture as it is in nature! This is an unacceptable excuse. I was very dissatisfied with the seller's response because he did not respond to my message after sending it. I had to send several messages and in the end I did not reach a solution. He told me that he would take it back if I did not open the package, but I opened it so
